About Us
Support for Life, Entering Education and Starting Work
Futureworks NY provides support and guidance for people of all ages as well as volunteer opportunities within the local community.
Our work includes furniture restoration using the skills acquired by our Learners here at Futureworks NY.
Futureworks NY provides personalised support and guidance for those looking to improve their lives.
We are a registered charity, and we started out in 2012.
Our mission is to work within our community, provide support and guidance and encourage all ages to fulfil their potential through engagements, motivation and support.
Our work includes helping school age individuals; young adults aged 16 to 18 years, and Adult Training. We also have our own workshop and retail space at Furniture Works in Scarborough.
The projects we carry out are varied, ranging from activities to outdoor challenges to furniture restoration. There are qualification opportunities for some Learners.
